This is my first post at this forum. I have enjoyed reading the posts here for a while and have gathered a lot of information that has helped me in this pursuit that we all enjoy so much.I am a working fellow who gambles for fun and am by no means a pro. I started betting on games while a college student in the 1970's and have been gambling regularly ever since. A unit for me is $100 and I seldom wager more than 5 units on any given game.

I have been posting my plays weekly at another fine forum ( Bettorsnetwork.com ) My documented record there this season for NCAA football is 36-21-3.I should also mention that I am getting clobbered in the NFL so far in 2003.

These are the games with writeups that I bet on Fri at 3 different offshore shops. All plays are for 1 unit.

Miss St +21 at Auburn
I'm just thinking this is a lot of points for these 2 teams even as bad as Miss St has played this year. Tigers coming off 2 huge wins vs Tenn and Ark and travel to LSU next week for another huge game. I'm thinking they might just be content to win this one. Coach Sherrill's job is on the line and the Bulldog kids may come up with a huge effort here. Aub wins but not by 3 TD's.

Rice +4 hosting Navy
The Middies have won outright as dogs the last 2 weeks and now play on the road as faves. That's a definite go against situation in my book. I don't care how many Navy players are from Tex and how bad Rice has played to date, I'll take the Owls plus the points here. Both teams run the triple option and veteran coach Hatfield should come up with a solid game plan here.It also seems like the whole world is on Navy in this game.

La Tech pk hosting Hawaii
This is now a pick at a lot of shops so get on it quick. This game has postseason implications and the Rainbow Warriors are 0-3 both SU and ATS on the mainland this season.I don't know how many miles it is or how many times zones are crossed in traveling from Honolulu to wherever the hell La Tech is, but it's a damn long road trip. La Tech played Boise St tough and beat Mich St in E. Lansing and has done quite well playing a tough schedule. I like them here.

Duke +10' hosting Wake Forest
When is the Blue Devil unit that was supposed to be a covering machine this season going to step forward ? This Sat I hope. Duke was on a 4-1 ATS run vs The Deacons until last years slaughter in Winston-Salem. Revenge is on the Dookies side and I look for them to come through with a cover here.

Kansas -20' hosting Baylor
2 weeks ago Baylor beat Colorado for its first Big XII victory since the invention of the wheel. The Bears rode that high into College Station last week and gave up 73 points to Tex A&M. What will happen this Sat when they visit Kansas and and the Jayhawks (Coach Mangino's) high powered offense ? Easy. They give up 55 or more points and get clobbered.

USC/ND under 44'
With the Irish we have a one dimensional offense that can't throw but can run with some success. USC defense in road games is allowing 1.9 yds per rushing attempt. Defensively Notre Dame has been solid. USC has scored a lot in some games but against defenses like Stanford and Hawaii (terrible). I don't see where the points will come from in this game. UNDER.

That's it for this week. I look forward to posting here again and getting opininons from the fine cappers here at RX. Thanks.
